The design features of the BMW X1.
The BMW X1 radiates a seductive thirst for action: from the superb BMW kidney grille and the Adaptive LED headlights as well as the LED fog lights, via the 19“ wheels in Y-spoke style and the wing mirror with LED-Projektion “X1”, through to the LED rear lights and impressive tailpipe trims. Awaiting you as you enter is the Ambient light running discreetly through the whole interior. The instrument panel is additionally embellished with decorative contrasting stitching, which also features in the Dakota leather Oyster upholstery and in the floor mats. The adjustable rear seat provides flexibility through additional space in the rear seating area or more stowage capacity in the luggage compartment.

BMW kidney grille.
The massive double kidney grille with a connection in the middle, as well as the facetted kidney grille slats that clearly protrude from the frame lend the BMW X1 an extremely striking front.
Adaptive LED headlights.
The adaptive LED headlights include low-beam and anti-dazzle high-beam headlights (BMW Selective Beam) and turn indicators with LED technology. The equipment also features cornering lights, daytime running lights and adaptive light control for an illumination of the road adapted to the driving situation.
LED fog lights.
LED fog lights increase short-range visibility in fog or precipitation, improving safety. The colour of the light they emit is remarkably similar to daylight. They also consume little energy and have a very long lifespan. The fog lights give the front of the vehicle a high-tech, modern appearance.

Exterior mirror with LED projection “X1”.
The exterior mirror on the driver's side shows a two-colour “X1” LED projection next to the vehicle when it is unlocked. This welcome greeting also includes the illumination of the door handle recess.
Rear lights with LED technology.
The two-part Rear lights with LED technology in characteristic L design consist of one lighting segment in the body of the vehicle and one in the tailgate. Thanks to the dynamic brake light function, the drivers of vehicles behind are warned by flashing brake lights should the vehicle brake hard in a hazardous situation.

Instrument cluster with Black Panel technology.
The instrument cluster, designed in Black Panel technology, has a matt black surface with two fine chrome rings and is integrated into the instrument panel in a modern and elegant way. It shows the driver the additionally desired, relevant contents in a coloured 5.7" display in the middle.

The Instrument panel has a contrast stitching that matches the seam colour of the upholstery.
Adjustable rear seats.
Options for using the boot space are particularly flexible thanks to the numerous ways in which the rear seats can be adjusted to either increase leg room for the rear passengers or maximise loading space in the luggage compartment, whichever has priority. The 60:40 splitting rear seat can be slid forward or back by up to 130 mm. The rear seat backrest can even be folded down in a 40:20:40 split.

BMW TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder petrol engine.
The new generation BMW TwinPower Turbo 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine guarantees maximum driving pleasure. It is notable for its agile power delivery as well as for its outstanding responsiveness even at low engine speeds, while also being fuel efficient and low in emissions.
xDrive.
The intelligent BMW xDrive all-wheel drive system smoothly and variably distributes drive power to the front and rear wheels for maximum traction, driving dynamics and safety in every driving situation. Steptronic Sport transmission.
The 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission offers incredibly sporty gear changes. In SPORT mode and with the gear lever in the left-hand S/M position, the gear shifts are configured for maximum performance.
Adaptive suspension.
The adaptive suspension makes it possible to adjust the damper characteristics to suit the driving situation and combines ride comfort and driving dynamics with the best possible safety. Via the Driving Experience Control, you can choose the standard COMFORT mode or the SPORT mode.
M Sports steering.
The M Sports steering with Servotronic creates a direct and agile steering response and ensures less physical effort is required to turn the wheel. The vehicle can be directed more precisely, offering highly athletic handling characteristics, particularly on winding roads.
M Sport brake.
The M Sport brake with multi-piston brake callipers in dark blue and M designation delivers exceptional braking performance. Adapted to the vehicle's extremely high dynamic potential, it also allows for a pronouncedly more athletic driving style and excellent braking on wet surfaces.

Equipped with innovations such as telephony with wireless charging, the BMW Head-Up Display and Control Display in 10.25"-format alongside intelligent safety systems including the Driving Assistant Plus and the Parking Assistant, the BMW X1 ensures that you always reach your destinations comfortably and safely.
Displays and controls.
In line with the state-of-the-art driver orientation in a BMW, all displays and controls are neatly arranged and within easy reach. They are clearly grouped into the four major categories of driving, comfort, display and operation. This means that new drivers can quickly find their bearings and the amount of time their eyes are diverted from the road is kept to a minimum.
BMW Head-Up Display.
The full-colour BMW Head-Up Display projects information relevant to the journey directly into your field of vision, thereby allowing you to fully concentrate on driving. The display includes information such as the current speed, navigation directions, Speed Limit Info incl. no-overtaking indicator, along with telephone and entertainment lists.
Parking Assistant.
The Parking assistant makes parallel parking easier. The system works by measuring potential spaces while driving past them at a low speed. When a suitable space has been found, the Parking Assistant takes over steering, while you are responsible for selecting the correct gear, as well as pressing the accelerator and brake.
Telephony with wireless charging.
Telephony with wireless charging includes a wireless charging dock and an additional USB port. A roof aerial connection improves mobile reception. Two mobile telephones and an audio player can be connected simultaneously via Bluetooth. Also included are: Bluetooth Office and the technical capacity for a WiFi hotspot.
Automatic tailgate operation.
The Automatic tailgate operation allows users to open and close the tailgate electrically – all that is required is the push of a button in the interior or on the vehicle key. It can also be opened using the outside handle, and closed using a button on the inside of the tailgate. An acoustic warning signal increases safety.
