Your BMW iX3 50 xDrive has clever ways of reducing the charging time. If you set a public charging station as your destination in the navigation system, it will pre-condition the battery. The intelligent charging flap opens automatically when you want to charge. It also closes automatically when you remove the charging plug.

In future, the BMW iX3 50 xDrive will support bidirectional charging¹¹. This will allow it to act as an energy store at home together with an optional BMW Wallbox Professional, or as a mobile power bank while on the road.
